Over 100 Farmers Completes FSTP
Farmers from Alcantara, Barili, Naga and Talisay finished the Farmer Scientist Training Program (FSTP) of the Cebu Provincial Government on May 22.
FSTP or Farmer Scientist Training Program which centers on corn-based production system, provides training for small farmers with agricultural experts and scientists to develop their technical skills and hone their scientific knowledge in growing crops and use efficient farming techniques.
At least 170 farmers completed the training 117 farmers from Alcantara and Barili while 58 from Naga and Talisay.
Roldan Saragena, Provincial Agriculturist told graduates of the FSTP to apply what they learned in the field.
