Only Fully-Vaxxed Can Enter Movie Houses in Cebu City

The Cebu City government announced that only fully-vaccinated individuals could enter movie houses and cinemas as more entertainment establishments will be allowed to operate in the city.

The city government will also determine whether movie houses are capable of receiving moviegoers in their establishments.

These establishments are required to have proper ventilation, such as exhaust fans, to properly ventilate the area and stop the spread of COVID-19.

Cebu City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) head Cebu City Councilor Joel Garganera said that they will put a premium on the carbon dioxide or CO2 level of these establishments.

Movie houses are also obliged to ask the vaccination cards of their customers to identify if they are fully vaccinated or not.

The Cebu City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the city’s Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) have already conducted an ocular inspection on movie houses in the Cebu City.

Two cinemas in Ayala Center-Cebu, two cinemas in Ayala Central Bloc, and the Director’s Club in SM Seaside were among the establishments that were given a green light to reopen. (ASC)
