Only a Matter of Time – Dave Gonzales: The Album Launch

Fragile Tone in coordination with Kalye Musika and Handuraw Pizza Gorordo presents the long awaited Dave Gonzales Album launch entitled Only a Matter of Time. This momentous event is coming our way this March 20, 2015 and starts at 8:00pm at Handuraw, Gorordo Ave. Cebu City.

Guitar solo albums started in the 1980s, were the instrumental rock genre was dominated by several guitar soloists. Famous guitarist that come to mind would include Swedish virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen who released his debut solo album Rising and Joe Satriani’s with his album Surfing With The Alien. Steve Vai, and Jason Becker also released solo albums during the 1980s.

3 decades later, Dave Gonzales, one of Cebu’s top guitarists will make his contribution to the guitar solo scene with the release of his album, Only a Matter of Time. The album contains 8 songs, which includes Release, The Children Didn’t Change, Peace of Mind, Candy Store, The Good Thing in Life, Quarter to One, Misunderstood and Shiratori.

The event will also have performances by Bryan Ouano and Carlo Jaca, Day 6 and The Lord of the North.
