One Minor and 2 Others Arrested in Talisay
One minor and 2 newly identified drug peddlers were arrested in Mananga, Talisay City after receiving reports from concerned citizens about drug related activities in the area on October 2, 2018.
The arrested individuals were identified as Jumbert Kho Laroa, 30, a resident of Artville, Brgy. San Isidro, Talisay City; Ronny Balavis Ydoran, 39, a resident of Campo 4, Talisay City and “John” (not his real name), 15.
After reports from concerned citizens, Talisay City Police conducted a clandestine surveillance operation in the area when John approached the police showing sachets of suspected shabu,
Moments later, Laroa and Ydoran approached John and took the sachets and said that Rosal owe them.
The undercover police officers immediately arrested John, Laroa and Ydoran.
Recovered from the suspects were 5 sachets of suspected shabu estimated weight of 0.25 grams with a Dangerous Drug Board value of P2,950.
Laroa and Ydoran wil facel charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
John who is a minor, will not face any criminal liability stated in R.A. 9344 or the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
