Oil Prices for Gasoline, Diesel, and Kerosene Increase Anew this Week

Oil prices in the country are set to increase for the second consecutive week starting Tuesday.

Oil firms Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell said in different advisories that their respective gasoline prices will increase by PHP0.50 per liter, while also announcing an increase of PHP0.95 per liter on their diesel prices.

Moreover, oil firms Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell also announced in their advisories that their kerosene prices will increase by PHP0.60 per liter.

Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.

The Department of Energy said that crude prices has been increasing globally during the trading days of August 23 to 27.

Year-to-date price adjustments for gasoline prices show an increase of PHP12.85 per liter. Diesel prices have also increased by PHP9.95 per liter, while kerosene prices have increased by PHP8.10 per liter. (GFB)
