Oil Firms Increase Pump Prices Starting Tuesday
Oil companies are raising pump prices on Tuesday, as announced in separate advisories on Monday.
Caltex, Shell, and Seaoil confirm an 80-centavo increase per liter for gasoline and kerosene. Diesel prices will also rise by 90 centavos per liter.
Petro Gazz and Cleanfuel are implementing the same adjustments, with diesel going up by 90 centavos and gasoline by 80 centavos per liter.
Last week, fuel prices increased by PHP1 per liter for gasoline and kerosene, while diesel saw a PHP1.40 hike.
In 2024, gasoline and diesel prices saw total net increases of PHP12.75 and PHP11 per liter, respectively. Meanwhile, kerosene has recorded a total net decrease of PHP2.70 per liter. (ASC)
