Oil Firms Implement Rollback on Gasoline; Hike Diesel, Kerosene Prices
Gasoline prices in the country are set to be decreased while diesel and kerosene prices will be increased as oil firms implement new adjustments to oil prices effective Tuesday.
Oil firms Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Shell, said in separate advisories that their diesel prices will be increased by PHP1.20 per liter, while their gasoline prices will go down by PHP1.70 per liter.
Moreover, oil firms Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will also implement an increase in kerosene prices by PHP2.45 per liter.
This will be a reversal of last week’s price adjustments as kerosene and diesel prices were decreased, while gasoline prices were increased.
Oil prices remain at a very volatile state globally as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict rages on.
Year-to-date price adjustments for gasoline currently stand at a net increase of PHP24.80 per liter, kerosene prices stand at a net increase of PHP24.25 per liter, while diesel prices currently stand at a net increase of PHP28 per liter. (GFB)
