SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “SAMUEL” was estimated based on all available data at 75 km North of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (10.4 N, 118.8 E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. It is moving West at 25 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.
FORECAST: Palawan including Calamian and Cuyo group of Islands will have rains with gusty winds, while Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms due to TD Samuel. The rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the South to Southeast will prevail over Western Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro, and from the Northeast to East over the rest of Visayas with moderate to rough seas.
