While we all agree summer is a welcome breather for all the working bees in the city, the endless hours under the sun could get things a little offhand. So before you go flaunting off that new tan, we thought you could use the summer kit you never even knew you needed (until now).

The calling card
Summer is the perfect time to meet different people! With all the beach trips and get-togethers, it’s a waste not to make new friends. Calling cards will come in handy when you don’t want to look too forward leaving your number to that nice person you talked to at a party (wink).

The summer journal
You never want to forget all the memories under the sun. Make sure to jot down everything (yes, even the bad hair days) in a journal to remind you of a wonderful summer. So when the season’s over, you’ll still have your own pocketful of sunshine to get you through the tough times.

The good read
Admit it, all the free time could get a little boring. So instead of moping up in your bedroom all day long, try burying your nose on the book you’ve been meaning to read for a long time but haven’t had the chance. After all, you can never go wrong with a good read on a lazy summer afternoon.

The happy episodes
Everyone needs a daily dose of good vibes! Laugh (and cry) your heart out over some How I Met Your Mother episodes while on a friend’s sleepover. Be it summer, spring, winter or fall, nothing beats good old laughter especially shared with people close to the heart.

The pack of gum
Studies show gums are instant stress busters. In that case, a pack of gum in your back pocket could do wonders on your next road trip. Don’t worry if chewing gums dry up your mouth and make you thirsty because we’re sure that’s nothing a bottle of water can’t handle!
