Northeast Monsoon to Bring Light Rains Over Northern Luzon
The weakened northeast monsoon will bring light rains to Northern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
“Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and the province of Aurora will experience cloudy skies with light rains,” PAGASA said in its weather bulletin Saturday.
PAGASA noted the weak northeast monsoon as the weather formation that has affected the area.
The Davao region and SOCCSKSARGEN, on the other hand, will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies, accompanied by isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds coming from the northeast will also prevail over the eastern section of Visayas, brought by isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Other areas will have light to moderate seas, still due to light to moderate winds coming from the northeast to east. (PNA) JBP/JLD/PJN
