Nokia Lumia 1520 Announced
Nokia has just made its Lumia 1520 official at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi. It is their first ‘phablet’ with a full HD 6-inch display and supports 1920×1080 resolution(368 ppi).
The latest Windows phone has a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage expandable via microSD slot.
The Lumia 1520 uses a 26 mm wide angle 20MP PureView camera with 6-lens Zeiss optics and a 1/2.5 inch BSI sensor. The camera has OIS and makes use of oversampling, which results into smaller res photos with less noise and also allows for lossless zooming.
Other specs include:
- Coring Gorilla Glass 2 for protection
- 3400mAh battery
- 8.7 mm (0.34 inch) of thickness and weighs 209g
- Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0
The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be available in yellow, red, white and white black options. For a retail price of $749, it will start to hit in Asia and Europe later this quarter.
