No More Mandatory Use of Face Shields in Cebu City
Cebu City is now among the city’s that no longer requires face shields to enter establishments.
Cebu City acting Mayor Michael has announced the removal of the mandatory use of face shields in the city with Directive No. 11-09-01.
Rama announced this in a press conference last November 10.
This means that people can now enter malls and other establishments without face shields in the city.
However, Rama said that wearing face shields is still required in hospitals, clinics, public utility vehicles (PUVs) except for public utility jeepneys (PUJs) with open windows and ventilation, diagnostic laboratories, and other medical facilities.
Moreover, indoor establishments and venues are now required to ask their customers for their vaccination cards upon entering their establishments. (ASC)
