With the increasing demand of SUVs and crossovers in the Visayas region, Nissan Philippines has launched perhaps one of their most important models – the All-New 2014 Nissan X-Trail.

The All New X-Trail is Nissan’s contender in the compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) segment. It mixes bold lines with a muscular body to create a look that can only be matched by its stunning on-and off-road performance.

The new model comes with a completely new look without abandoning key elements of its design that speak of its power to conquer challenges presented by the terrain and the ability to cater to your active lifestyle.

The seven-seater third generation X-Trail is not just better but a lot of bigger, boasting innovative features such as active ride control, active engine break, around view monitor, hill and start assist.

An active ride control monitors the road surface to detect road imperfections which cue the vehicle to automatically adjust to any road condition and keeps the ride harmonious.

Using Nissan’s XTRONIC Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), Active Engine Brake ensures a smooth transition into a corner, with better braking control and better pedal feel sans the usual braking effort.

With X-Trail’s Around View Monitor, get a bird’s eye view of the vehicle using 4 different camera angles making backing and parking as smooth and easy as possible.

Drive through steep inclines without breaking a sweat, Hill Start Assist is the standard feature in all 4WD variants utilizes torque and brake detection preventing the vehicle from sliding back whenever you’re on a steep incline.

Larger than the previous model and certainly, among the biggest in its class, the All New X-Trail possesses an imposing stance and translates all of that size into plenty of interior space designed for a family bonding or a Barkada trip.

The new X-Trail comes in Pearl White, Diamond Black, Brilliant Silver, Fiery Red and an exclusive color for the 4×4 variant – Copper Blaze.

The model will be available in Nissan showrooms this month, with the suggested retail price as follows: Php 1,375,000 for the 2.0-liter 4×2 variant and Php 1,580,000 for the 2.5-liter 4×4 variant.

Nissan ranked the highest in customer satisfaction with after-sales service among new vehicle owners according to the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 Philippines Customer Service Index (CSI) Study.
