Nintendo Makes Official Switch Entry in PH Market, Appoints Local Firm as Distributor
Nintendo has officially appointed VSTECS Phils. Inc. as its distributor for the popular Nintendo Switch in a stride towards expanding its footprint in the Philippines.
The announcement came as VSTECS posted the news on their Facebook page, saying that their appointment will enhance the accessibility and also aim to further the reach of Nintendo Switch in the Philippine market.
“This initiative aims to amplify the reach of Nintendo Switch, making it readily available to a diverse and widespread audience,” VSTECS said in their announcement.
Furthermore, the Philippine tech distributorship company was also designated as an official service center for the Nintendo Switch in the Philippines, giving the Philippine market, where the Nintendo Switch is already available through third-party sellers, an official service center for console maintenance and customer support.
Jimmy Go, President and CEO of VSTECS Phils., expressed his enthusiasm about the distributor appointment.
