Nine-tower Condominium Breaks Ground in Mactan

A 5.6-hectare condominium breaks the first phase of its nine-tower property last June 28 in Mactan, Cebu.

The residential condominium, a project owned by Taft Property Venture Development Corporation (Taft Property), is named Soltana Nature Residences (Soltana) which is situated on Maximo V. Patalinghug Ave. in Lapu-Lapu City.

Soltana is a nature-inspired development which is composed of several seven-storey and 15-storey buildings with four phases.

The first tower, which is under the first phase, has a total of 280 units with one and two-bedroom unit types with 30 to 60 square meters. These unit are already 50% sold mostly from local buyers. It is expected to be constructed by 2016.

Each storey of the tower will only have 20 units and each level will also have open sided corridor and a landscaped atrium at the ground floor. This will have a commercial establishments and features such as a nature pond, themed gardens, infinity pool, club house, lap pool, orchard forest, kiddie pool, bicycle lane, multi-purpose hall, function rooms, gazebo, basketball court and commercial park.

The price per unit is ranging from P2.3 million to P4.5 million which depends on the sizes chosen.

Lydwena Eco, head of project development group of Taft Property, said “we are targeting buyers who are looking for the “best of both worlds,” those who want live in a nature-inspired but modern resort type of condo living.”

Each tower is built with expansive space from each other, more than triple the width of a typical street with an open space of about 65 percent of the development.

Soltana also features sky garden in specific levels of each tower.It also has an open-sided corridor that allows breezy ventilation and abundant sunlight to pass through naturally. It also gives a good calm view of the cityscape and the blue waters beyond.

Taft Property is behind of the construction of Horizon 101 also known as the tallest building in Cebu.

The company is a part of the Viscal Development Corporation, whose holdings include the Metro Gaisano Chain of Stores in Cebu and Manila, Wealth Bank, AB Capital & Securities and Viscal Investment.
