Newly Installed QC Police Chief Warns Drug Syndicates to Surrender or Face Consequences
Newly installed Quezon City Police District Director Police Sr. Supt. Guillermo Eleazar on Wednesday warned members of drug syndicates in his jurisdiction to “surrender or we will do our job.”
Guillermo said if drug pushers operating in Quezon City continued to operate, they would surely face the consequences.
“I hope that those who are members of syndicates will surrender, submit upon arrest, and will not resist arrest. Otherwise, we will do our job,” Eleazar said.
He guaranteed concerned personalities that his men will uphold the law and respect their rights but will conduct “commensurate action” when their safety and the safety of the public are in jeopardy.
“If circumstance dictates na sa ating pag-operate, ma-compromise ang ating safety and the safety of other people, commensurate action must be done,” he explained.
“Hindi naman tayo papayag na tayo ang madadale o mapapatay sa ating operation. If it is imminent, alam natin ang ating gagawin. But that should only be done given the particular situation,” he said.(PNA) RMA/SFM
