New Treats at Hikay, Serenitea
Try the all-new treats at Hikay Lutong Pinoy restaurant and Serenitea this season. True to its trademark to whip up only delicious palates with appetizing food presentations for the Cebuanos and food lovers alike, Hikay has added new products that will surely send the hungry stomach wanting for more, while Serenitea comes with a new concoction in town.
Locally known recipes cooked in their own rendition, Hikay launched the delectable six-piece Chorizo Sugbu (chorizo as a popular delicacy of Mandaue City), seafood treat Halang na Saang (Spicy Sea Shell), succulent and mouth-watering Sizzling Pochero and the resto’s version of a ‘red’ Paksiw de Pasko (Roasted Pork Stew of Christmas). All these are already served now in the restaurant.

Serenitea on the other hand stands true to its tagline to be “not just your ordinary cup of tea” as it introduced another kind of beverage which trademark is of Cebu—the new Mango Tango. The fresh variant is a blend of sweet mango chunks, honeydew and milk. It will be available on January 2014.
Truly, there’s no stopping at Hikay and Serenitea which source of inspiration behind offering the best dishes to diners, is to bring out the best of Cebuano talent, capability and identity. Thus, they serve on the new dishes to the market.
Apart from new dishes to indulge in, Calyx Centre, where Serenitea and Hikay sit, will hold the first Cebu Fire Dance Competition and an Inter-BPO Acoustic Mash-Up Contest on January 18, 2014. These will be held at the Calyx Centre Hallway Activity Center at 10:30 p.m. Great prizes are up for grabs for the winners.

Currently, registration is ongoing for interested contestants in both categories. The fire dance competition is open to groups of two or more, while the inter-BPO acoustic mash-up accepts BPO companies that endorse groups of three or more.
