New Razer Blade Announced: The ‘Fast & Thin’ Gaming Laptop
Gamers’ calls were answered as the CEO Min-Liang Tan introduced the new Razer Blade, the world’s thinnest gaming laptop with a 14-inch screen that measures 0.66-inches high when closed.
The Razer Blade delivers up to six hours of battery life and includes a Killer™ Wireless-N high-performance wireless networking adapter, combining intelligence and control along with up to five-times the wireless networking speed of competitive wireless adapters.
Other hardware specifications include:
- future 4th generation Intel Core processor, 8GB RAM,
- Windows 8 as the operating system of choice
- Qualcomm Killer NIC N1202 (802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, a 14” HD+ display at 1600 x 900 resolution with LED backlight,
- integrated stereo speakers, a trio of USB 3.0 ports, Dolby Home Theater v4 with 7.1 Codec support via HDMI, a 1.3-megapixel camera,
- Razer Anti-Ghosting Keyboard with adjustable backlight and Kensington Lock
Pricing for the Razer Blade starts from $1,799 onwards as pre-orders are made available this June 3rd, and you can choose from 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSD configurations.
