New iPad Mini Gets Retina Display
Apple on Tuesday (Oct 22) announced the next generation of its iPad mini tablet with Retina Display. It is equipped with 7.9-inch display and features 2048×1536 resolution (326 pixel per inch).
Underneath the hood, the new iPad mini has a 64-bit A7 processor – making scrolling and everything else notably faster and smoother, M7 motion co-processor, and an upgraded 5MP rear iSight camera with a backside illumination sensor and 1080p FaceTime camera on the front.
The new iPad mini with retina display price starts at P22,990 for a 16GB Wi-Fi version and will be available later in November with both Silver/White and Space Gray/Black options.
Apple also introduced new polyurethane Smart Covers for the iPad mini that will be available for P2,290 as well as new aniline-dyed leather Smart Cases for P2,790.
