Neil Felipp and Aziza Mondoñedo Present The 1st Mode de Vie Trunkshow
Mode de Vie is a three-day lifestyle gathering in Cebu that will showcase the latest collections of globally recognized designers at the new Restaurant Aziza at The Tinder Box from November 7-9, 2014, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The trunkshow will be a three-day lifestyle event where customers will be able to meet the featured designers and get first dibs on items before it will be distributed to nationwide and worldwide retailers.
The inaugural Mode de Vie will feature the following Manila designers:
J. MAKITALO
J Makitalo forayed into jewellery design with a bold, almost talisman-inspired approach to necklaces, pendants and bangles that echo the allure and enigma of civilisations past.
Her pieces have been featured on the pages of Vogue USA and worn by various International personalities such as Katy Perry.
NATALYA LAGDAMEO
Natalya Lagdameo fuses the past with the present, combining local skills and artistry to create pieces for her highly diverse collection, utilizing antique components alongside modern concepts.
The compositions take on an aesthetics that is updated yet still with respect to the traditional format.
KEN SAMUDIO
Ken Samudio’s techniques explore the natural and organic form found in nature by mimicking tactile features and distinct textures using indigenous and recycled materials. He is the First Filipino Designer to be recognised in this year’s Vogue Italia’s Vogue Talent for Accessories.
MACO CUSTUDIO
Maco Custodio’s works immediately caught the attention of the fashion industry as he proposed unconventional approaches in material selection and shapes. Shortly after taking further studies in Shoe Engineering in China, Custodio’s unique footwear began to make an appearance in some of the country’s biggest fashion shows. The rest,
as they say, is shoe making history.
Also available on these dates are LULU DK JEWELRY TATOOS, metallic gold and silver tattoos that last for 4-6 days.
Mode de Vie will be curated by Neil Felipp San Pedro one of the country’s most promising industrial designers, and Aziza N. Mondoñedo, jewelry designer and general manager of The Tinder Box.
