Negative RT-PCR Test No Longer Required to Enter Cebu
Travelers bound to Cebu are longer required to show a negative rapid antigen test or reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia issued the said memorandum last October 1.
The memorandum reads all people entering Cebu Province are not required to present a negative RT-PCR result. Instead, a medical certificate indicating the person has not shown symptoms for COVID-19 is already enough.
The said medical certificate should be issued 24 hours before they arrive in Cebu Province.
The said memorandum is directed to all mayors in the Cebu Province, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police, Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority, and airline operators. (ASC)
