Naga’s College Studes to Hold Classes in Tents
College students from Cebu Technological University (CTU-City of Naga) will hold classes in makeshift tents at the Enan Chiong Activity Center (ECAC) starting this June.
But this is only “temporary,” according to the city’s spokesperson, Garry Cabotaje.
“For the moment while ayuhon pa ang old market, collapsible tents will be erected at the sides of the Enan Chiong Activicty Center (ECAC) to serve as classrooms. But this is only temporary pending the repair of the old market building,” said Cabotaje.
Cabotaje said there will be eight classes for various courses, which means they will be erecting eight tents to serve as classrooms for the first batch of college students.
Cabotaje said the rehabilitation of the old market, which will be converted into a college building, will start as soon as the vendors will move to the a new building anytime soon.
