Naga to Have its Own NBI Soon

The City of Naga will soon have a satellite office of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Mayor Valdemar Chiong said this is to help his constituents and those from the neighboring towns to process their NBI clearances.

“They don’t need to go to Cebu City just to get their NBI clearance. It’s about time we have an NBI satellite office here,” said Chiong.

Chiong said this NBI office will also spur economic activities in their city, as individuals who visit their office will have to spend for food and transportation. He said if in a day 500 people will visit the NBI office and spend P100 each on food and transportation, that will mean income foe the city’s businessmen and drivers.

The mayor said they will train five persons to work for this satellite office which will be placed at the Enan Activity Center. He said they are targeting to open it before the month ends.
