Mynimo Offers Over 22,000 Career Opportunities For Job Seekers
Over 22,000 jobs await job seekers who wanted to find career opportunities at the “Mynimo:Happy Jobs Fair” to be held at the IEC Convention in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City on May 25, Saturday.
Personnel from Mynimo is expecting a large number of applicants considering that there is a 16% rise on companies hiring in Cebu.
Happy job fairs will cater applicants looking for local and overseas job opportunities.
Welsey Chiongbian, President and CEO of Mynimo said that by conducting this activity, applicants no longer need to go from one place to another and endure the extreme heat of the sun.
Chiongbian also added that this is hassle free since it is a one stop shop.
Based on the record, it shows that there are currently 4,337 registered applicants.
Local employment vacancies include retail, manufacturing, tourism, education, information technology,business, healthcare and while overseas include food and beverage, manufacturing and medical industries.
67% of the participating companies are from medium and large businesses while 33% from small and micro businesses.
Cebu City leads the number of companies hiring with 20% followed by Mandaue City (14%), Lapu-Lapu City (12%), and Talisay City (10%).
Vacancies in admin/office job opportunities also leads the vacancy list with 10% followed by Sales and Marketing (9%), Accounting/Finance and IT (4%) and Engineering and Architecture (3%).
Happy Jobs Fair also offer career opportunities for People With Disabilities (PWD).
In fact they have 2,320 jobs waiting for PWDs.
