More To a Blemish-Free Skin
We’re always on a battle against blemished skin but sometimes cleansing, toning and moisturizing is not enough. Here are 4 tips that you should religiously incorporate into your lifestyle. They may be small but they make a big difference!
1. Wash your hands!
The most basic and fundamental rule of sanitation is always violated especially during a busy day at school and work. Everytime you touch your face you transfer dirt and oil from your fingers to your skin. Always wash your hands before applying anything to your face- unless you want to apply bacteria!
2. Change your pillowcase!
Oils and hairs from your skin seep into your pillow as you sleep. Make sure the material is made of 100% cotton which is sure to avoid skin irritation. Wash and replace each week.
3. Watch your hair products!
Be careful with leave-ons like conditioners and oil treatments. They drip to your skin while you sleep causing you to break out. Before going to bed wrap a scarf or a small towel around your hairline to protect your skin.
4. Clean your cellphone!
Did you know that your cellphone can be as dirty as a toilet seat? Dirt and bacteria build up on your phone and gets into your pores as it’s pressed to your ear and the side of your face! Regularly disinfect with an antibacterial wipe or a piece of tissue dampened with rubbing alchohol.
