More Pfizer Vaccines Arrive in Cebu
The US-made Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines for Central Visayas have arrived at the Mactan International Airport on Tuesday, June 27, 2021.
Around 51,000 doses out of the total 375,000 doses of the US-made vaccines were allocated for Central Visayas.
Meanwhile, over 51,000 doses of the said COVID-19 vaccine brand were also delivered to Davao City.
Moreover, the Department of Health in Central Visayas will give an announcement regarding the distribution of the said vaccine soon.
This latest shipment is part of the 40 million doses the government purchase from the said company.
Since March this year, the region has received over a million doses of COVID-19 vaccines. (ASC)
