More Jobs Open as Pharma Retail Sees More Growth
More jobs would be available for people as the pharmaceutical retail industry is optimistic about future growth.
According to the group general manager of Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI)drugstore segment Christine Tueres, they are confident that the improvement of the industry will continue as a large portion of the market remains underserved.
RRHI opens another branch of the Rose Pharmacy in Lapu-Lapu City — their 870th drugstore in the country.
With the pandemic still lingers in the country, RRHI President and Chief Executive Officer Robina Gokongwei-Pe said that health today is even more important during this time.
Gokongwei-Pe added that since their acquisition of Rose Pharmacy in 2020 they have found more ways to address relevant customer needs.
RRHI venture in the pharmaceutical retail industry started in 2012 when the holdings acquired South Star Drug.
The company also acquired TGP in 2016, one of the country’s drug stores that sold generic and affordable medicines. (ASC)
