More Destinations in PH Remove Swab Test Requirement

Boracay and Camiguin are now among the destinations in the country that removed swab testing as a requirement before entering certain locations for fully-vaccinated persons as both areas just this week announced that they will now start to accept vaccination cards.

As of writing, the Department of Tourism (DOT) allows the following destinations remove swab test requirements for fully-vaccinated persons:

– Tarlac
– Pampanga
– Nueva Ecija
– Batangas
– Oriental Mindoro
– Masbate
– Camarines Norte
– Iloilo
– Negros Occidental
– Bohol
– Southern Leyte
– Zamboanga del Sur
– Zamboanga Sibugay
– Misamis Oriental
– Bulacan
– Cebu Province
– San Vicente, Palawan
– Naga City, Camarines Sur
– Baguio City, Benguet
– Cebu City and Mandaue City
– Clark Freeport Zone
– Subic Bay Freeport Zone
– Dingalan, Aurora
– Maasin City, Leyte
– Ormoc City, Leyte
– Calbayog City, Samar
– Mati, Davao Oriental

Although some destinations only require vaccination, other areas may also require an S-PaSS or vaccination card with a QR code.

Moreover, tourists planning to visit these are reminded to check the respective local government unit (LGU) for other requirements aside from the vaccination card. (ASC)
