More COVID-19 Vax to Arrive in PH this Year

The country expects more COVID-19 vaccines to arrive in the country in the coming days as other nations are distributing their excess vaccines to other countries.

National Task Force Against Covid-19 chief implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez said that the United States and other countries are donating their excess COVID-19 vaccine to the COVAX facility to accelerate the pandemic responses of other nations.

The country expects to receive 44 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the COVAX facility this year.

Meanwhile, the Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Kazuhiko Koshikawa also announced on his Twitter account that the Japanese government will donate AstraZeneca vaccines to the Philippines. (ASC)
