She also underscored that, “We will be encouraging all the Filipino Organizations in the different countries to extend help for the typhoon victims.”
Former Philippine Senator Gordon also revealed that they did not tapped the Miss World Winner to be part in their relief operations but it was the latter who is also a Red Cross Volunteer even before she was crowned who approached him together with the Miss World management to join the Philippine Red Cross operations.
Gordon reiterated that they are looking for long-term solutions to the typhoon victims together with all those who wanted to help especially the international agencies and local government units like the very active Cebu City Government.
