Metrobank’s Journalists of the Year Awardees to Give Lectures at USJR
Metrobank’s 2015 Journalists of the Year (JOY) awardees will deliver lectures on July 8, 2016 at the University of the San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Center for Performing Arts from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.
This will serve as the inaugural lectures of the awardees, namely: Maria Teresa Vitug, editor-at-large of Rapper; Howie Severino, news anchor and vice president for professional development of GMA Network, Inc.; and Nancy Carvajal, senior reporter of The Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Faculty members, communication students, and editorial teams of campus publications, and media practitioners in Cebu are invited to attend the inaugural lectures.
Admission to the event is free.

The awardees were conferred by Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) with the title “Metrobank Foundation Fellows in Journalism” during the second batch of the JOY search, under which they will conduct lectures before identified audiences in Metro Manila and other regions in the country.
