MCWD Appeals For Customer’s Patience and Cooperation
Metropolitan Cebu Water DIstrict (MCWD) appeals to customers to remain sober and patient especially in affected areas during this water shortage.
Water trucks and fire trucks are being deployed in affected areas to tend to customers who are affected in this water crisis.
In a press release, MCWD asks the customers to cooperate with volunteers manning the fire trucks and water trucks as reports were received by MCWD that some irate customers are harassing and threatening volunteers during the operations.
MCWD implemented a Rationing Schedule last April 27 to ensure that affected customers can store water.
More trucks are being rented to help ration the water. The water district is also awaiting the arrival of the newly bought trucks to help ration the water supply to affected customers.
MCWD asks apologies for the inconvenience and appeals to the people to cooperate and be patient with the volunteers. (ASC)
