MCCI Inducts New Members, Names New Trustees
The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) recently inducted new member-companies and eight additional trustees for the fiscal year 2014 to 2015 during its annual general membership meeting at the Azia Suites and Residences, Cebu City. The meeting highlights includes the election of new members of the Board of Trustees, induction of new member-companies and the presentation of the President’s Report.
With the continued promotion of Mandaue City as the core investment hub next to Cebu City, MCCI President Philip Tan said the induction of new members attests to the continuing growth and development of the chamber supported by the board that are mostly comprised of exceptional leaders, who are packaged with beauty and brain, and who are ready to extend help to the local business community.
Among the 21 new member companies include Shaldan Philippines Inc., Oyster Bay Seafood, CT Concept Ent., Asialight Travel and Tours Inc., Nutech Marketing, Arcayans Inc., 168 Connect Accounting & Realty, Mutli-Mach International Inc., Verbena Capitol Suites, Oakridge Pavilion, Passerelles Numeriques Phil. Foundation Inc., Brunch Haute Cuisine Corp., Prime Movers Total Logistics Inc., Contempo Property holdings Inc., Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, Cebu International School, Azia Suites & Residences, Smart Communication Inc. –Cebu, The Memoriter Writing Service, Boston Hardware Inc., and PhilAsia Maritime Services Training Center Inc.
The new members of the board of trustees: Mark Anthony Ynoc, Wilson Ng, Carmel Salvador, Glenn Anthony Soco, Girlie Garces, Tina Lo, Jerry Roa and Beverly Dayanan. The eight will complete the pool of incumbent board members together with Philip Tan, Stanley Go, Vicky Dy, Noreen Yu, Edgar Allan Po, Michelle Co and Alice Uy.
Next year, the MCCI will celebrate its 50th anniversary as a business organization.
