Man Sets Self on Fire, 3 Houses Burned Down
3 houses burned after a 51 year old man allegedly set himself on fire on Friday in Purok 8, Brgy. Kamputhaw, Cebu City, February 15, 2018.
The victim was later identified as Alexander Sanchez, a resident of the area. In an interview with DyHP, the niece of the victim she said that his uncle was already planning to take his life after his wife left him.
The alarm was received by Cebu City Fire Station around 9:23 in the morning. The fire was put out around 9:54 a.m.
Two houses unfortunately were also affected by the said fire.
Fire Investigators are still determining if Sanchez really caused the fire. (ASC)
