Man Dead in Shooting in Talisay City
A 20-year-old man was dead after being gunned down by unknown assailants at around 11 P.M. in Brgy. Tangke, Talisay City on Friday, September 14, 2018.
The victim was identified as Christopher Badajos, 20, a resident of Sitio Galaxy, Brgy. Tangke, Talisay City.
In the initial investigation, at around 11 P.M. Badajos was on board a trisikad along with a fellow passenger and the driver when the incident happened.
According to the witnesses, they heard two gunshots of unknown calibre from behind. After which, both the driver and the passenger disembarked the said vehicle and ran away, then they heard another two gunshots.
The driver went to check the victim as he saw the assailants fled away from the scene and saw that Badajos was already unconscious.
The two witnesses immediately brought Badajos to Tangke Barangay Hall at around 11:25 P.M. for assistance and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 7 personnel brought Badajos to Talisay City District Hospital but was declared dead-on-arrival.
The motives and identity of the suspect/s are currently under investigation. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
