Malaysia: No Confirmation Yet of Suspected Jet Debris
A top Malaysian official said Friday that investigators so far, have not received evidence that the two objects found by satellite in the Indian Ocean come from the missing passenger jet, report said.
Malaysia Defense Minister and acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said there is no positive corroboration on the debris. “I have been getting reports all morning. There is no positive corroboration yet,”he said.
Hussein said this after a search force continued the hunt for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 in the remote southern Indian Ocean, trying to confirm the potential debris field.
Surveillance aircraft on Thursday found a pair of floating objects captured by satellite imagery, which Australia and Malaysia guardedly described as a credible lead in the baffling mystery surrounding the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.
