Makeup Trends for Fall 2013
1. Dewy skin or the radiant, “no makeup” look has been on for a long time but recent fashion shows makeup artists have leaned on to a more matte look for the skin.
2. Graphic shapes of eyeliner looks paired with nude lips ala the groovy sixties era. You can use silver instead of the usual black for a modern twist.
3. Red nails were apparent in recent fashion shows as well.
4. Use purple, reds and metallic grays instead of the usual and “safe” approach to a smokey eye.
5. Dark, berry-stained matte lips: Fanny Serrano has recently released a matte lipstick collection, among the stunning shades, Bright Fuschia really stood out. Give it a try for only P 299.
6. Strong brows: model Cara Develgine is always a point of reference when we mention about bold brows. To give the illusion of thicker brows top of your already filled-in brows (with either powder or pencil) with a tinted brow gel. Mac’s brow set is a popular choice but try mixing slightly shimmery brown eyeshadow with hair gel.
7. Grunge: the slept-in eyeliner look. Help smudge your eyeliners with a small amount of petroleum jelly on your fingers.
