LTO Opens in Ronda

The Land Transportation Office Region 7 (LTO-7) launched their new district office in the town of Ronda in Southwest Cebu. The construction of the said office is just 20 days.

This is LTO’s 15th district office can now offer LTO-related transactions not only to people residing in Ronda but also to neighboring towns like Alcantara, Dumanjug, Moalboal and more. Ronda district office is the only LTO in the souther part of Cebu Province next to Carcar City.

LTO-7 director Victor Caindec was present at the ribbon cutting along with Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia, 7th district representative Cong. Peter John Calderon and other officials from different towns.

Meanwhile, Ronda Mayor Terrence Blanco was overwhelmed by opening of LTO’s district office saying that this is a “dream come true” for them.

Governor Garcia also showed his gratitude and dubbed Caindec as “the man with positive change in LTO-7”.

“Busa sa paghimo niining LTO, 20 days, salamat kay wa gyud ninyo gigamit nga rason ”di mi uy kay Covid baya.’ Panahon na atimanon ta na ang ekonomiya, atimanon ta na ang panginabuhi sa atong mga kaigsuonan nga Sugbuanon,” said Governor Garcia.

LTO-7 has now 2 extension offices, 4 licensing centers, 3 driver’s license renewal office (DLRO), 1 e-patrol, and 1 Malasakit Lounge. (MLC)
