LTFRB Honors 3 Honest Cabbies

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) acknowledged and rewarded the honesty of three cab drivers in a simple commendation ceremony on Tuesday.

The three hero cab drivers were identified as Arnold Bado of RoseWin Taxi, Diosdado Anonuevo of Esgar Taxi and Miguel Ardiente, Jr. of Royal HM Taxi who have all returned valuable belongings to their respective owners.

Both Anonuevo and Ardiente were able to attend the ceremony while Bado, who was unable to attend due to sickness, was represented by his operator Erwin Gabriel.

They were given gift certificates from private sponsors as well as a cash reward worth PHP5,000 cash from the LTFRB.

During the ceremony, LTFRB board member Atty. Ariel Inton congratulated the cab drivers, urging others to do the same.

Inton also lauded the media for reporting the stories of honest cab drivers.

He further said that this ceremony was part of the LTFRB campaign to curb erring drivers in public transportation and prove that good drivers still exist.

Also present during the ceremony were LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez and Board Member Ronaldo Corpus. (PNA) BNB/ANP
