LPA to Bring Rains in Luzon Including Metro Manila Until Weekend
Manila (PNA) — Most parts of Luzon including Metro Manila will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains until weekend due to the low pressure area (LPA) that resulted from the weakening of tropical depression “Betty,” according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Friday.
In an interview, PAGASA weather forecaster Gener Quitlong said that as of 4 a.m., the LPA was spotted some 600 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon (14.9˚N, 127.2˚E).
He said the LPA has slim chance to re-intensify into a tropical depression but will hit landmass in Bicol region by Friday evening and expected to exit the country by Sunday.
With the presence of LPA, expect cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers in most parts of Luzon including Metro Manila until weekend, Quitlong noted.
He added the rest of the country will have generally fair weather except for isolated thunderstorms.

It added the rest of the country including Metro Manila will be experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
The temperature in Metro Manila for Friday will range between 21-32 degrees Celsius.
