LPA may bring Floods, Landslides in Bicol, E. Visayas — PAGASA

PAGASA on Wednesday said flash floods and landslides may hit parts of Bicol and Eastern Visayas due to a low pressure area northeast of Catanduanes.

The state weather agency, in its 11 a.m. advisory, said the LPA was estimated at 130 kilometers northeast of Virac, Catanduanes as of 10 a.m. adding that this weather disturbance is expected to bring light to moderate rain and thunderstorms over Bicol region and Eastern Visayas.

PAGASA advised residents in these areas to take “necessary precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.”
