LP Bets lead in Talisay
It seems that a new administration is in the making in Talisay City.
This unfolds as the Liberal Party’s mayoralty bet Johnny delos Reyes is leading in the race.
Based on the unofficial results, delos Reyes, a businessman, won by 736 votes against veteran lawmaker Eduardo Gullas of Alayon, the administration’s bet. Gullas is on his third and final term now as first district representative. Delos Reyes’ running mate, Councilor Romeo Villarante, is also showing a good lead against incumbent Vice Mayor Alan Bucao based on the unofficial results. The canvasing of votes is still ongoing at the City Hall as of this writing, and the proclamation of winners is set at 2 p.m. today.
