Local, Overseas Jobs Fair Set on May 16

(Cebu City PIO) — The Primary Structures Corporation through their School of Knowledge for Industrial Labor, Leadership, and Service (SKILLS) in partnership with the Cebu City Government’s Department of Manpower Development and Placement (DMDP), will conduct a joint Local and Overseas Jobs Fair this May 16, 2015 Saturday at the Skills Compound, along Gorordo Avenue, this city.

Mayor Michael L Rama who is known as the “Father of Cebu City Jobs Fair” strongly supports the worthy activity which gives an opportunity for job-seekers to apply for a job in a one-stop set up.

The activity which will start at 8 o’clock in the morning and until 5 o’clock in the afternoon will be participated by at least 30 Local and 20 Overseas companies and agencies bringing thousands of job vacancies available.

Now on its 3rd year, the annual event aims to lessen the unemployment rate in the city, to help the job seekers land a job and to assist the employers in their manpower needs.

The jobs fair which is open to all job applicants here and outside the city is pursued in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

Job applicants are advised to prepare with their updated resume and bring along with their employment certifications (for previously employed), High School Diploma, Transcript of Records (For College Graduate) and Passport (if available).
