Light to Moderate Rain Over North Luzon: PAGASA

State weather agency on Monday reported that Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan group of islands will be cloudy with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of cold front.

PAGASA said Metro manila and the eastern section of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

On Sunday, PAGASA forecast Central Visayas; the Provinces of Aurora, Negros Occidental and Surigao to be cloudy with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front.

Winds will be moderate to strong from the east to northeast over northern and Central Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough, PAGASA’s Monday bulletin said.

Elsewhere in the country, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east, with slight to moderate seas, it added.
