Light to Moderate Rain Over East Visayas Due to LPA–PAGASA
State weather agency on Tuesday said that Eastern Visayas and the Caraga Region will be cloudy with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms due to a low pressure area.
In its forecast, PAGASA said the LPA was 220 kms east of Surigao City at 4 a.m., but PAGASA’s Buddy Javier said over dzBB radio that it was unlikely to become a cyclone in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos Regions will be cloudy with light rain because of the northeast monsoon, PAGASA said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, report said.
PAGASA raised a gale warning over the seaboards of northern Luzon, as coastal waters along the island will be moderate to rough with moderate to strong winds from the northeast. It advised fisherfolk and small sea craft against sailing over these seas.
Elsewhere in the country, winds will be light to moderate from the east to northeast, with slight to moderate seas.
