Lifeless Body of a Man Found in Brgy. Lagtang

A lifeless body of a man was found at Fiber Home Compound, Sitio Ilang-ilang, Brgy. Lagtang, Talisay City last September 11, 2018.

The dead body was identified to be Eddie Villejo, 70, a native from Davao with no immediate relatives in Cebu.

At around 1:57 P.M., Chito Racaza, the security guard of the compound, reported to the police station that he saw Villejo’s lifeless body in his shanty. The police who came to the scene saw the bloodied body of Villejo and immediately requested the assistance of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO).

According to the initial investigation, Theressa Oriate, the sister of the owner, said that Villejo arrived at the compound sometime in November 2017. Since then they give him a place to stay as a caretaker.

Villejo was last seen alive in the afternoon of September 10, 2018 feeding their cats inside the compound.

Based on the inquiry, no one noticed any untoward incident prior to the recovery of the his dead body. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
