LG to Launch Smartphone with Curved Display

LG plans to launch the G Flex, a smartphone with a curved display, in November, according to Cnet reports.

LG’s plans haven’t been finalized, but if all goes well the device will feature a 6-inch, curved OLED display. This doesn’t necessarily mean the phone will be flexible — only that the display will have some degree of curvature.

Curvy smartphones could become a thing this holiday season, as Samsung also plans to launch a smartphone with a curved screen in October, and a version of the Galaxy Note 3 with the curved display has been rumored to be in the works.
