Lenovo Introduces A Slew of New Budget-friendly Tablets
The tablet market sales are dwindling and Lenovo thinks it’s got the solution with five recently announced Android tablets purpose-built to give you the bang for the buck.
These budget-friendly tablets include the E series composing of Lenovo Tab E7, E8, and E10 which are recommended for basic media consumption and gameplay, thus it is cheaper with prices ranging from 69.99 USD to 129.99 USD. The more high-end models are Lenovo Tab M10 and P10 and are priced much higher but with significantly better specs.
Lenovo Tab E7 owns a 7-inch display with 1024×600 resolution. It features Android Oreo, MediaTek MT8167 wifi model, and MediaTek MT8321 3G model. E7 also has 1GB of RAM and 16GB for storage. Release date for E7 is October.
Lenovo Tab E8 gets an 8-inch display screen with 1280×800 resolution. Similar to E7, it has 1GB Ram and 16GB storage. It features MediaTek MT8163B and Android 7 Nougat. E8 is now available at Walmart stores.
Lenovo Tab E10 gets the larger 10.1-inch display with 1280×800 resolution. This features Android Oreo, Qualcomm Snapdragon 210, 16GB storage, and 2GB RAM. It is set to launch in October as well.
On the other hand, Lenovo Tab M10 also features a 10.1-inch display but with significantly higher resolution at 1920×1080 and the mobile processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. M10 can also hold up to 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. There is no word on price rate and release date for this model yet.
Lenovo Tab P10 is the same with M10 in terms of display, resolution, mobile processor, and storage space, except this model also has 4GB of RAM, a fingerprint reader, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. It also features Android Oreo, unfortunately there is no update on availability and pricing for this model as well. (Adapted by Lara Eviota)
