LABOR DAY JOBS FAIR

Job hunters form a long queue in SM City Cebu on Thursday as it offers a total of 310,000 vacancies to qualified workers all over the country. The mall’s annual job fair, participated by its 49 Supermalls nationwide, are held in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)and Philippine Employment Service Office.
Job fairs are mandated under RA 8759, otherwise known as the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Act of 1999, which states that job fairs shall be conducted “periodically all over the country to bring together in one venue job seekers and employers for immediate matching.”
