Labella to Get Full Support from 3 Senator-Elects

Cebu City Mayor-elect Edgardo Labella will get full support from 3 Senator-elects to bring major development in the city.

Those senators were known to be Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, Retired PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and Imee Marcos which happened to be under the same slate, PDP-Laban.

In the case of Go, he will continue to expand the Malasakit Center in Cebu and to help develop the Cebu City Medical Center.

Go’s biggest project is the Malasakit program which will help many Filipinos secure health care.

There are currently 34 Malasakit Centers in the country and the Malasakit Program is a big part of the Universal Health Care.

Meanwhile, Dela Rosa said he will continue to aid the Philippine National Police to maintain peace and order in Cebu and the whole country.

Dela Rosa was the top senator chosen by the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and top 4 in Cebu.

Marcos on her part, said that she will bring major projects in Cebu City and Cebu Province.

Labella was grateful to learn that 3 senators will support him all the way as the Mayor of Cebu City.

Meanwhile, Labella made sure that all barangay in Cebu City will receive a service vehicle after the current Cebu City Council passed a resolution to distribute service vehicles to different barangay.

Labella added that he will personally check if all barangay were issued a service vehicle that can be used on government transactions.

Labella cleared that even if a certain barangay captain is not part of the Barug-PDP Laban party list, he we still provide a service vehicle to be used by the barangay.

Labella, along with Go, Dela Rosa, Marcos and all elected officials will assume office on June 30, 2019. (MLC)
